There is no other city in the world that is as much adored as Paris. This city is a myth: how can so much beauty possibly be united in only one city? It is not for nothing that famous writers such as Oscar Wilde and Ernest Hemingway became addicted to the French flair and sought their inspiration in the streets of Paris. Hemingway once said: “If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.” And he was right: if you decide on living in an apartment in Paris for a couple of days, to wander around its streets and to to watch the Parisian sky float over your head, then you will carry the memory of this wonderful trip with you for the rest of your life.
Summer in the city
Spring and Summer are the most wonderful time to visit Paris. The city has lots of beautiful gardens, especially the famous Jardin du Luxembourg is full of flowers of every color and a hotspot for Parisians. In the evening everybody takes an aperitif with wine, baguette and cheese on the large lawns before they head off to one of the many bars that line this beautiful park.
People who want to go to Paris between May and September should plan their trip carefully and book a room on wimdu in advance.
On rainy days the city has a lot to offer too, the grey Parisian sky has even been the subject of many songs for it creates a particular atmosphere. The many renowned museum are open almost everyday and one can spend hours looking at the masterpieces of their collections.
